Starting From the age of 5-6, you can explore and deepen your technique, music reading, and interpretation. Our goal is to develop your musical sensitivity while introducing you to the world of music.
In a friendly and playful environment, each session is a unique experience. You will progress in a structured manner, respecting your musical preferences. Additionally, instruments are available for purchase or monthly rental to support your practice periods.
The courses, individual or in small groups, can cover a variety of subjects, such as music theory, technique, interpretation, vocal or instrumental improvisation, preparation for auditions, competitions or entrance exams in music programs at the elementary, secondary, CEGEP and university levels, as well as composition, musical arrangements and computer-assisted music production, always in accordance with the needs and interests of the student.

Annual session
One lesson per week

One lesson of a musical instrument of your choice, one meeting per week based on availability, for thirty-six consecutive weeks without interruption.

Payable in three installments: in September, November and February or according to a payment agreement upon registration.
Two lessons per week
De septembre 2025 à juin 2026 (au total 72 cours)
Two lessons of a musical instrument of your choice, two meetings per week according to availability for a total of thirty-six consecutive weeks without interruption.
Registration can take place at any time before the end of the scheduled session (certain conditions apply).

GENERAL COURSE CONDITIONS
Cold, Cough, Positive Tests, and Isolation
If a student has a cold, a runny nose, or a cough, they are not required to attend class to avoid risking contamination of their teacher. The student must notify the teacher via email or text to arrange an alternative solution that works for everyone.
Lateness and Last-Minute Cancellations
If a student cannot attend their scheduled class due to a medical or other valid reason, they must notify L'OMCM and CC the teacher's email at least 48 hours in advance. The teacher may, at their discretion, offer a maximum of two make-up classes during the term or when a time slot becomes available.
Cancellation Procedure: 48 Hours or More
If the student is unable to attend the scheduled class due to medical reasons or other, they must notify L'OMCM and CC the teacher’s email at least 48 hours or more in advance of the class. The teacher reserves the right to offer up to two make-up classes during the session or when a spot opens up in their schedule.
Make-Up Classes
If the student adheres to the 48-hour or more cancellation notice, the teacher agrees to offer a maximum of one make-up class before December 25 and a second make-up class after June 7. It is the responsibility of the student and the responsible adult to inquire about the make-up class date and confirm their availability with the teacher at least 48 hours in advance. The student will not be refunded for a missed make-up class, and the make-up class will be lost.
Public Holidays
Classes will be held on public holidays. The teacher reserves the right to reschedule the class if all students respect the 48-hour or more cancellation notice procedure and make-up class procedure. Payment Schedule and Late Payment
A payment schedule will be sent to you on the day of registration at L'OMCM. For any payment arrangements during the year, please contact the OMCM administrators. They reserve the right to deactivate the student's access card if there is an outstanding payment. A late payment will incur a $25 penalty. Always refer to the payment schedule.
Termination of Music Lessons
If the student is registered but wishes to interrupt music lessons for an indefinite period, a two-week notice is required. The student must complete these last classes, or they will be forfeited. The responsible adult will pay for all completed classes, including the two notice classes and non-refundable fees.
Free Practice time
At OMCM, students enrolled in music lessons receive a free practice session each week in one of the available practice studios. These periods are non-transferable. Minor students must be accompanied by a responsible adult during their free practice. Friends, siblings, cousins, uncles, aunts, or any other person accompanying the student on-site must hold a personal access card and be registered with the OMCM studio administrators.
Express Shop
At L'OMCM, students enrolled in music lessons enjoy a discount on the regular price (before taxes) for purchases made at the L'OMCM Express Boutique. These products include everyday accessories, musical instruments, and learning materials used by the teacher during lessons. When students or their parents find a product listed by one of the major suppliers in Montreal, they can request it directly from the L'OMCM Express Boutique. Students can make purchases at 996 Notre-Dame Street, Lachine. Delivery times may vary between 2 to 7 business days, depending on product availability from the supplier. Cleanliness of the Premises
All L'OMCM members are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Everyone is expected to contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and preservation of the facilities in optimal condition. Waste should be disposed of in the waiting room trash can, and food waste with strong odors (e.g., bananas) should be taken home or placed in the outdoor trash bin at the front of the building. Consuming sugary drinks or eating is prohibited in the studios. Only water bottles are allowed.
Personal Access Key
A $10 refundable deposit is required for the personal access key, which is necessary to enter and move around at L'OMCM. If you decide to stop using the L'OMCM studios, your $10 deposit will be refunded when you return your access card in intact condition.
Non-Refundable Annual Fees
The access card will be non-refundable if damaged. In case of loss, a new card will be issued for a fee of $10.
